Mutual Aid to Ocean Township
December 21, 2009
Unexcelled Firefighters responded to Ocean Township to assist the Wanamassa Fire Company with what ultimately became a 4 alarm fire.

Snow Storm Keeps Firefighters Busy
December 19-20, 2009
Unexcelled Firefighters worked around the clock during a snow storm that blanketed the Jersey Shore with 16-18 inches of snow.
Firefighters responded to fire emergencies, assisted stranded motorists and assisted EMS to gain access to people in need of medical care who were snowed into their homes.

The Unexcelled Fire Company was presented with a donation of $1,160.00 during the September 22, 2009 borough council meeting in Bradley Beach. The donation was generated from the 8th Annual Robert J. Foti Gold Tourament, which was held in Bradley Beach on September 8 at the Ocean Front Gold Course. FF Foti was member of FDNY's Ladder Company 7 and was killed on 9/11. He was a summertime resident of Bradley Beach and brother to the members of the Unexcelled Fire Company. Also in attendance at the council meeting was FF Foti's widow Florence Foti and son Bobby Foti, Jr. |

October 5, 2008
Monmouth County Fire Marshals Office Medal Day Ceremony, held at the Keyport Fire Museum in Keyport, New Jersey.
Three Unexcelled Firefighters were cited for bravery while working with Asbury Park firefighters in the rescue of residents in a high rise apartment building fire.
Members receiving awards were Lieutenant Daniel Harker, Lieutenant Joseph Mauro and FF Francis Sutphin (seated).

June 28, 2008: Training at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Members of Unexcelled Fire Company, Hamilton Fire Company and NFD Career staff received instruction on ropes and rigging. The training prepares firefighters to rescue trapped firefighters and civilians who may be trapped in high rise fires and beyond the reach of ladder trucks. |

MISSION
STATEMENT
The mission of the Unexcelled Fire Company
is to maintain a highly trained and effective firefighting-rescue
force that operates in a safe and efficient manner; and is
prepared to respond and effectively suppress fires, rescue
those trapped, handle emergencies and disasters; and to save
lives, protect property and the environment in Neptune Township
and other jurisdictions when requested.
