Unexcelled Fire Company

TRAINING - DRILL SCHEDULE

The Unexcelled Fire Company holds two scheduled training drills per month. On the third Monday, we hold basic fireground operational training. On the fourth Monday we hold firefighter rescue and special operations training. All drills are prepared with a lesson plan and approved by a State Certified Instructor. Drills are delivered in a factual and informative manner. All participants are required to be positive, professional and disciplined during all training excercises.

January 28: Vehicle Extrication

March 17: Car Fires (MCFA) - (Lieutenant Mauro)

April 21: Carbon Monoxide Calls / Operations - (Lieutenant D. Harker)
April 28: Torch Cutting Operations - (First Due Training)

May 19: Engine Company Operations - Forward/Reverse Lays, Hose Stretches, Fire Streams
May 26: Cancelled - Memorial Day Weekend

June 16: Engine Company Operations, Part 2 - (FF Williams)
June 30: Rope Rescue / Rescue Lowers - (First Due Training, Inc.)

July 21: Cancellation of all outside activities (due to excessive heat)
July 28: Basic Firefighter Rescue techniques

August 18: Truck Company Operations lecture
August 25: Ladder As A High Point Rescue
