TRAINING

The Unexcelled Fire Company maintains a very active and progressive Training Division. A Lieutenant oversees training and is assigned to perform the following tasks.

- Plan and manage an annual training budget
- Schedule required/mandatory training
- Plan, prepare and present monthly training drills
- Plan, prepare and present monthly firefighter rescue drills
- Document/Record all training activities and maintain training records
- Budget, plan and schedule advanced training
- Maintain instructor certifications
- Network with various training resources, both locally and nationally
- Maintain and acquire (when available) training props and materials
